Infection caused by the mould fungi Aspergillus can be a major cause of illness in individuals with CGD and for many other people whose immune system does not work properly. We support work that advances the development of better anti-fungal drugs. This work has the potential to help many thousands of people who live with the threat of serious fungal infections.
In previous years the Trust sponsored the Aspergillus website that provides essential information on Aspergillus infections and gives patients the up to date news of antifungal treatments.
