- Give immediate attention and swift treatment to patients with CGD
Shared experience of a diagnosis
Dr Roy Evison
Dr Evison, a retired GP, recounted his experience of one family presenting with a variety of symptoms, and illustrated the difficulty in reaching a diagnosis.
- In this instance, a variety of non-specific symptoms presented during four years and were settled with non-specific treatment.
- Computer records are difficult to access. Traditional methods - examining all aspects and evaluating past history should be used in such cases to reach earlier diagnosis and begin prophylactic treatment.
