The Media plays a vital role in helping the public understanding our work and we welcome media interest, especially sensitive, objective coverage of the issues involved. In some circumstances we may be able to facilitate interviews with people directly affected by CGD and medical experts for news and human interest stories.
On the scientific side, our medical research officer is practised in clearly explaining the medical details of the condition as well as the cutting edge research projects we help fund to tackle it – including bone marrow and stem cell transplantion, and clinical trials of gene replacement therapy.
