Gift Aid

Using Gift Aid means that we get an extra 28p from the taxman on every £ you give. So for each £1 you donate, we receive £1.28. You can increase the value of your donation at no cost to you.

Who can use Gift Aid?

You must pay enough income and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount of tax the charity will claim.

How do I enable the CGD Research Trust to claim Gift Aid on my donation?

If you are giving online, you need to tick the Gift Aid box.

You can sign and send us a gift aid declaration form, which will cover any or all donations that you may make. This does not commit you to making further donations.

We can also claim gift aid on any donations you have made during the last six years.

Please ask us for a gift aid form by emailing from the contact page.

What about Gift Aid on donations from sponsors?

You can ask your sponsors to tick the gift aid column on sponsorship forms. They will need to write, clearly, their full name, address and post code on the form. To request CGD Research Trust sponsorship forms, please email us from the contact page.

Thank you for helping us make the most of your donations through gift aid.
