Do I need to register to visit the forums and read the messages?
Anyone can browse through the messages just by visiting the section. You will not be able to participate until you have registered and logged on.
What will happen to my details when I register?
Any details you submit to us are covered by our privacy policy. We will never pass these details outside the organisation.
Help! I've forgotten my password to the forum!
Simply go to the forum login page. There is a field towards the bottom of the page, where you can submit your email address to have your password automatically emailed to you.
Can I protect my identity, and that of my family and child?
Yes, this is important. When you register, the forum name you choose will appear as a signature on all your messages. You can use your first name and the first letter of your surname, or you could use something completely different, e.g. ranger79
What can I post on the boards?
You can post anything you like that relates to the themes of the boards. It's your area! However, in order to keep the boards focused, we may move topics to another area if we feel that would be more appropriate.
Do you delete posts?
We will delete posts that we consider offensive or that are likely to have legal implications. We reserve the right to edit or delete posts without prior warning.
Why do I need a username when I register?
You will only need one so that we can identify you when you come to the forums area of our site. The username you are asked for when registering can be anything you like.
I have waited some time and have still not received my confirmation email. What should I do?
As soon as you register, you should be sent a confirmation email. This is sent out automatically, so it should arrive within a few minutes regardless of what time you register or where you are.
If you do not receive this email promptly, it may be because you have mistyped your email address when registering. Try registering once more with a different username, paying particular attention to typing your email address.
Another likely possibility is that you may have a spam filter enabled on your email, which may pass the confirmation email to a "junk email" folder. If you do, please check inside this folder first.
If you have done both of these and still do not receive a response, please contact us making sure your registered username is included in the body of the message.
I don't agree with a message on the board. What should I do?Post a response! This is your area, and we're keen to encourage everyone to express their opinion.
The boards are monitored for inappropriate or offensive comments.
