Care and support

No two people with CGD have exactly the same needs, and at different times the same person needs different services. For example, emotional support or a good listener may be most valuable at one point, when at another point people may look for the sort of information on practicalities that we provide in our fact sheets.

We offer specialist support services through our clinical nurse support service and our clinical psychology service. While the charity does not itself provide medical advice, we can help you access advice from medical sources and we can give examples of how other people have coped.

Do you think you may have CGD? If you think the answer is 'Yes', please look at our CGD Patient + Family Route Map, which will guide you through what to do next.
